(1). Where can one find information on the filling of vacancies in
the public service?

Calls for applications for the filling of vacant posts in the Malta public service are published in the official Government Gazette, if the vacancies are open also to persons who are not serving public officers, and as Management and Personnel Office (MPO) or Departmental Circulars if the vacancies are restricted to serving public officers. Calls for applications published in the Government Gazette may be viewed on the website of the Department of Information Notification of calls for applications issued in the Government Gazette and of MPO or Departmental Circulars may be viewed on the website of the Public Service Commission. MPO or Departmental Circulars are also brought to the attention of all eligible public officers.

(2). Where can one see the result of a selection process following a call for applications issued under the aegis of the Public Service Commission?

Results of selection processes approved by the Public Service Commission
may be viewed on the Notice Board of the Public Service Commission, The Palace, Valletta. A notice indicating the date of the publication of these results may also be seen on the Website of the Commission.

(3). May a candidate have a breakdown of the marks obtained?

Requests for a breakdown of marks obtained in an interview are to be
addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission, The Palace, Valletta, VLT 2000 or by e-mail addressed to psc@gov.mt.


(4). How may an applicant or candidate make representations or a petition relating to a selection process conducted under the aegis of the Public Service Commission?
